Haya Pomrenze, founder and editor of Babka Press, has written poems that have appeared in numerous journals, including Rattle, Hanging Loose, Hawaii Pacific Review, Paterson Literary Review, and Minyan.

 

She is the author of Hook, a National Jewish Book Award nominee, How It’s Done, and Holy Ground. She considers herself the founder of the Jewhitsu poetry form.

A creative arts therapist on a mental health unit, Haya uses poetry as a healing modality for trauma survivors. An award-winning storyteller, Haya enjoys performance poetry.
